The Val Tidone International Music Competitions require high professional standards. Therefore a prize obtained in those contests represents a valuable passport toward an international career.
Among the winners of the Val Tidone International Music Competitions, now in their 26th edition, many career artists, such as the pianists Alice Sara Ott, Michail Lifits and Lukas Geniusas; the accordionists Radu Ratoi and Raimondas Sviackevicius (professor at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre); the Chopin Piano Quintet and the Violin-Piano Duos Rita Mascagna-Mari Fujino and Vineta Sareika-Gabriela Ungureanu; the composer Andrea Portera and many others.
